The Conflict Program was recently featured in Contra Costa Lawyer Magazine in the article, “Promoting Everyday People’s Access to Justice: The Conflict Program.”
The article highlights The Conflict Program’s continued work to support access to qualified legal representation for individuals who cannot afford an attorney in Contra Costa County. It looks at the program’s growth and the ways it supports appointed attorneys handling complex cases across criminal, juvenile, conservatorship, guardianship, contempt, and other matters.
The feature also explores the development of the Attorney Support Division, which gives panel attorneys access to experienced social workers, research attorneys, paralegals, and mentors. These resources help attorneys build stronger teams, navigate challenging cases, and provide effective representation to their clients.
